Institute of Masters of Tea Arts (IMTA) respects your privacy and has established our Privacy policy to protect our customer’s personal information. We have created this privacy policy statement to inform you about the purpose of collecting, and the manner in which we use and disclose your personal information. We believe that our Privacy Policy fully complies with the "Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act."
Collection of personal information
Personal information on this website is collected by IMTA and certain of its affiliated companies or contract service providers.
What personal information does IMTA collect?
IMTA collects information that customers provide to engage in optional activities and services, such as subscriptions and shopping. If you elect to engage in these activities, IMTA will collect personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, and other personal information.
If you elect to purchase any products or services we may offer on or through our website, your personal information including your credit card information will be collected by Paypal, a leading online payments processing company, to process your payment. IMTA does not collect or retain your credit card information.
IMTA and our web servers may use cookies and log the IP/Internet address of your computer. However, IMTA does not use this information to identify you personally. We may use this non-identifying data for statistical analysis in marketing.
How is personal information used?
IMTA collects your personal information to support your participation in the activities you select and to process product purchases. Your personal information may also be used to keep you informed about articles, product arrivals, promotional offers and other products and services of IMTA.
